Job Role:
As a Performance Tester, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to ensure system reliability, scalability, and efficiency. You will work closely with development and operations teams to identify bottlenecks, optimize performance, and enhance application stability. The role requires strong expertise in performance testing tools, application monitoring, and cloud-based environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute performance testing strategies to assess system scalability and reliability.
- Utilize LoadRunner (preferred) and JMeter (good to have) for performance testing and analysis.
- Monitor and analyze system performance using Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and work with development teams to implement optimizations.
- Ensure test environments are properly configured to simulate real-world conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile development environment to integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of test results and provide insights for performance improvement.
- Work with protocols such as WEB, WEB Services, LDAP, and DEVWEB to ensure optimal application performance.
- Utilize AWS, OpenShift (OCP), and containerization technologies for performance testing in cloud environments.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases, results, and recommendations.
