Job Role:
We are looking for a ServiceNow Integration Developer to design, develop, and deploy ServiceNow integrations and custom workflow automation solutions using AppEngine and Creator Studio. The role involves integrating ServiceNow with external systems, optimizing workflows, and ensuring seamless data exchange while maintaining security and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
ServiceNow Integration & Development:
- Design, develop, and implement integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, HR, Active Directory) using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and third-party connectors.
- Develop custom APIs and maintain seamless data exchange between ServiceNow and external applications.
- Ensure integrations align with best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements.
Workflow Automation & Customization:
- Utilize ServiceNow AppEngine and Creator Studio to build custom applications, automate workflows, and enhance business processes.
- Customize and configure ServiceNow modules, including Incident Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, and CMDB, to align with business requirements.
- Design and implement automated workflows to minimize manual effort and improve process efficiency.
Data Management & Optimization:
- Analyze, map, and transform data between ServiceNow and external platforms, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
- Optimize integrations for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Testing, Documentation & Continuous Improvement:
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of integrations and workflows, resolving defects promptly.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for integrations, custom applications, and workflows.
- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, integration capabilities, and automation tools to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Expertise:
Experience:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow integration, AppEngine, and workflow automation.
- Proven expertise in integrating ServiceNow with external systems such as SAP, Salesforce, Active Directory, and other third-party platforms.
Technical Proficiency:
- Expertise in ServiceNow AppEngine and Creator Studio, including custom application development and workflow automation.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules (Incident, Change, Service Catalog, CMDB, ITOM).
- Experience with REST, SOAP, JSON, XML integration protocols.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, GlideScript, and UI actions/scripts for custom ServiceNow development.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for integration and workflow issues.
Certifications (Preferred):
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM, ITOM, or similar)
- ServiceNow AppEngine/Creator Studio certification or equivalent experience
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and documentation skills for stakeholder collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
